This church was struck by lightening the day before I got there and burned. They were already tearing it down.
When I left, there were Star Wars people there. I don't know why. But I liked it.

I still can’t get over how ugly/gross the stoma is. Seriously. Its a good thing its covered a lot of the time.
How are you doing these days?
Yeah, they aren’t that pretty. I’m hoping your are doing well with your recovery. I hated that part. Even though we didn’t have the same surgery, they are pretty similar. It really took about a year before I started to feel like me again. You start to forget what that’s like, and all of a sudden you start to notice the change. It can never come soon enough!
I’m doing ok – pretty much pain free (almost!) today, which is a rare thing, so I tried to make the most of my day. I do tend to over do things when I feel good, but I always have to pay for it later. Ugh.
I hope you are getting the rest you need – I know I slept a lot the first week.. oh yeah, maybe it was all those drugs they gave me!!!! 🙂
